Band history?  Which band?  I’m proud to play with a variety of excellent musicians.  Band names may come and go, but talented musicians continue to play music that lasts forever. 

Here is a list of the groups with which I am currently affiliated.

· Tim Burke Band --well known beach and dance oldies.

· Hazard County Band -- high energy country rock mixed with country classics.

· Tybee Mountain Boys -- newgrass/bluegrass music. 

· Chuck Courtney Band -- Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, traditional country dance music

· Georgia Kyle Band -- American and Western swing music as well as original selections.

· Burke & Schulze Band -- Rock ‘n Roll classics (you choose it!)

· Double Diamond Band -- traditional bluegrass 

· The Tim & Pete Duo--many originals as well as music ranging from Bob Dylan to Rolling Stones and Van Morrison

· The Tim and Jason Duo — lots of original music, Jimmy Buffet as well as new and traditional country

In addition to these groups, you will often catch me playing solo gigs with lots of my own original songs as well as music ranging from Gram Parsons to the Beatles. I also play popular hits from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s.

However, what I enjoy doing most is custom-designing a band to meet the needs of the occasion and the musical preference of the host. Whether you want a laid-back easy listening sound or a high energy dance band, I can make it happen.
